Privacy Policy (English)

Dressly ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Dressly mobile application (the "App"), a virtual outfit try-on tool. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

Summary in one sentence: Your photos and try-on results are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us or to any server; the App shows advertisements through Google AdMob, which may use a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads, but apart from advertising the App has no accounts, analytics, or cloud storage.

1. Information We Collect

We want to be direct. The App has no servers of its own and never uploads your photos. The only information that leaves your device is collected by our advertising provider (Google AdMob) to display ads, as described under "Advertising Data" in Section 1.3 below.

1.1 Photos and Camera Images (processed locally only)

Camera input: When you grant camera permission, the App uses your device camera so you can aim at clothing and preview an outfit in real time.
Photo library images: When you choose to import a photo (for example, your upper-body photo), the App reads the image you select from your photo library.
Try-on results: Images you generate within the App may be saved back to your device's photo library when you choose to save them.

All of this image processing happens on your device. Your photos are never transmitted to us, to Google, or to any third party.

1.2 App Settings (stored locally only)

The App stores your preferences and settings (such as in-app options and your language selection) locally on your device using your operating system's standard local storage. This data does not leave your device and is not associated with any identity.

1.3 Advertising Data (collected by Google AdMob)

The App displays ads using Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC). To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may access and process a device advertising identifier (the IDFA on iOS), along with limited technical and device information and ad-interaction data (such as ad impressions and clicks).
On iOS 14 and later, the App asks for your permission through App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before the advertising identifier is used for personalized ads. If you decline, AdMob serves non-personalized ads instead.
For all users, including those in the European Economic Area and the UK, advertising choices are managed through the ATT prompt described above; the App does not use a separate Google consent management platform (UMP) prompt.
This advertising data is collected and processed by Google under Google's own policies (see Section 4). The App itself does not build a profile of you or store this data on any server we control.

1.4 Information We Do Not Collect

For clarity, the App does not collect any of the following:

Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials
Precise location or GPS data
Contacts, calendar, health, financial, or biometric data
The contents of your photos (these never leave your device)
Usage analytics or behavioral session tracking by us

2. How We Use Information

Information is used to provide the App's core function on your device and to display advertising:

To display a live camera preview so you can position clothing items (on device)
To let you import a photo and generate a virtual try-on preview (on device)
To save try-on results to your photo library at your request (on device)
To remember your in-app settings and language preference (on device)
To let you share a result using your device's share feature, only when you choose to (on device)
To display advertisements through Google AdMob, and — with your permission (ATT) — to show ads that are more relevant to you

We do not use the contents of your photos for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than generating the try-on preview on your device.

3. Permissions We Request

The App requests the following device permissions. Each is used only for the stated purpose, and you can grant or revoke them at any time in your device settings.

Denying the camera or photo permissions may disable the related features. Declining the tracking request does not limit any feature — you simply receive non-personalized ads.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates Google AdMob (Google LLC) to display advertisements. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process device and advertising identifiers and ad-interaction data. Google's handling of this data is governed by:

Apart from Google AdMob, the App does not integrate any third-party analytics, authentication, crash-reporting, or cloud-storage services. No SDK in the App uploads the contents of your photos off your device.

System share feature: When you choose to share a try-on result, the App hands the image to your device's built-in share interface. At that point, the destination you select (for example, a messaging app, social network, or email client) is operated by a third party and governed by that party's own privacy policy. This only happens when you actively choose to share, and we have no control over or visibility into what that destination does with the content.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share the contents of your photos with anyone — they remain on your device.

The advertising identifier and ad-interaction data described in Section 1.3 are shared with Google so that AdMob can serve ads. Under some privacy laws (for example, California's CPRA), using an advertising identifier for personalized advertising may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can limit this at any time by declining the App Tracking Transparency request (iOS) or by resetting or limiting your device's advertising identifier in your device settings.

The only way the contents of your photos leave your device is if you explicitly export or share them (for example, saving to your photo library or using the share feature). Those actions are entirely under your control.

We may disclose information only if strictly required to do so by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your photos, try-on results, and app settings are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain copies on any server.
Images the App generates or temporarily processes are kept in your device's app storage or the photo library location you choose.
The advertising identifier used for ads is managed by your operating system, not stored by us; you can reset it at any time in your device settings.
Because your local data stays on your device, its security is governed primarily by your device's own protections (such as your screen lock, device encryption, and operating system controls). We encourage you to keep your device secured and your operating system up to date.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

App settings and any cached data remain on your device until you clear them or uninstall the App.
Photos you import are read from your library and are not separately retained by us.
Try-on results are retained only where you save them (for example, in your photo library), and you can delete them at any time using your device's standard photo management tools.
The advertising identifier is controlled by your device and can be reset or limited in your device settings at any time.
Uninstalling the App removes its local app data from your device.

Because we do not store your personal data on any server, there is no account or server-side record for you to request deletion of from us. To exercise rights relating to advertising data processed by Google, please also refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Your Rights

We respect the data-protection rights described below. Because the App does not store your personal data on our systems, much of your data — your photos and settings — remains in your full control on your own device.

8.1 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR)

If you are in these regions, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For advertising, the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt described in Section 3 lets you manage your tracking choice, and Google processes advertising data as described in its own policies. The App processes your photos and settings only locally on your device.

8.2 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. We do not sell your personal information for money. We may "share" a device advertising identifier with Google for personalized advertising as defined by the CPRA; you can opt out by declining the App Tracking Transparency request or by limiting ad tracking in your device settings.

8.3 Taiwan (Personal Data Protection Act, 個人資料保護法)

If you are in Taiwan, you have the right to inquire about and access your personal data, to request correction or supplementation, and to request that collection, processing, or use cease and that your data be deleted. Dressly does not collect or hold your photos or settings off your device; advertising data is processed by Google as described above, and you can limit it through your device's tracking and advertising settings.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Advertising in the App is configured to a general audience content rating. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that raises a concern, please contact us at the address below.

10. International Data Transfers

The App does not transfer your photos or settings internationally, because it does not transmit them off your device. Advertising data collected by Google AdMob may be processed by Google on servers located in countries other than your own, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new App features or changes in the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

1. 我們收集的資訊

1.2 App 設定（僅儲存於本機）

本 App 透過作業系統提供的標準本地儲存機制，將您的偏好設定（例如 App 內選項、語言選擇）儲存於您的裝置本機。這些資料不會離開您的裝置，也不會與任何身分連結。

1.3 廣告資料（由 Google AdMob 收集）

2. 我們如何使用資訊

3. 我們請求的權限

本 App 請求以下裝置權限。每項權限僅用於所述目的，您可隨時於裝置設定中授予或撤回。

4. 第三方服務

5. 資料分享與揭露

我們不出售或出租您的個人資訊。我們不會與任何人分享您照片的內容——這些內容會留在您的裝置上。

第 1.3 節所述的廣告識別碼與廣告互動資料，會與 Google 分享，以便 AdMob 投放廣告。依部分隱私法規（例如加州 CPRA），將廣告識別碼用於個人化廣告，可能被視為跨情境行為廣告的「分享」。您可隨時透過拒絕 App 追蹤透明度請求（iOS），或於裝置設定中重設／限制廣告識別碼，以限制此情形。

您照片的內容離開您裝置的唯一方式，是您本人明確匯出或分享（例如儲存至相簿或使用分享功能）。這些動作完全由您控制。

我們僅在法律、法規或有效法律程序嚴格要求時，才會揭露資訊。

6. 資料儲存與安全

您的照片、試搭結果與 App 設定皆儲存於您的裝置本機。我們不在任何伺服器上保留副本。
本 App 產生或暫時處理的影像，保存於您裝置上的 App 儲存空間或您選擇的相簿位置。
用於廣告的廣告識別碼由您的作業系統管理，並非由我們儲存；您可隨時於裝置設定中重設。
由於您的本機資料留在您的裝置上，其安全性主要受您裝置自身的保護機制（例如螢幕鎖、裝置加密、作業系統控制）所管。我們鼓勵您保持裝置上鎖並更新作業系統。

7. 資料保留與刪除

App 設定與任何快取資料會保留在您的裝置上，直到您清除或解除安裝本 App。
您匯入的照片是從您的相簿讀取，我們不另行保留。
試搭結果僅在您儲存的位置（例如您的相簿）被保留，您可隨時透過裝置標準的相片管理工具刪除。
廣告識別碼由您的裝置控制，您可隨時於裝置設定中重設或限制。
解除安裝本 App 會從您的裝置上移除其本機 App 資料。

8. 您的權利

9. 兒童隱私

本 App 並非為 13 歲以下兒童設計，我們不會在知情情況下收集 13 歲以下兒童的個人資訊。本 App 內的廣告設定為一般年齡層的內容分級。若您認為某位兒童使用本 App 的方式有疑慮，請以下方地址聯繫我們。

10. 國際資料傳輸

本 App 不會將您的照片或設定進行國際傳輸，因為它不會將這些資料傳送至您的裝置以外。Google AdMob 所收集的廣告資料，可能依 Google 的隱私權政策，於您所在國家以外的伺服器上處理。

11. 本隱私權政策的變更

我們可能不時更新本隱私權政策，例如反映新的 App 功能或法律變更。當我們更新時，會修改本文件最上方的「最後更新」日期，並於合適時於 App 內提供通知。我們鼓勵您定期檢視本政策。
